Proof of Concept

As a vehicle to demonstrate the effectiveness and usability of a sensor network, we will build a large-scale (100+ node) sensor network, to the degree that is required to proof the concept. This sensor network will be constructed using the sensor nodes developed within the System Architecture (WP2).

The task of this workpackage is to integrate various mechanisms and protocols developed within this project. Since these workpackages have performed extensive simulations or have performed small-scale experiments, integration should be feasible within the short time frame of this workpackage. Full-scale implementations of all features might not be feasible considering the short time-frame for this task.
